Teams please arrive at least 15 minutes before game time to warm up goaltender, as games will start at scheduled time. Please have someone watch for when previous game ends.
The clock starts running at SCHEDULED game time (or within 5 minutes of when previous game ends if it is running late)
NO ALCOHOL at the rinks or on premises- Any teams caught will be suspended for 2 weeks and fined $50- to be paid directly to the Community Center (this is the Community Centers’ rules and we have to follow them) Please advise all team mates and don’t let one “bad apple” spoils things for your team
PLEASE use garbage cans- The clubs will be supplying garbage can in player’s boxes and dressing rooms. The League will be charged $20 each day the club has to pick up garbage so please use garbage cans. If this becomes a problem the costs will be passed on to the teams, in future registration fees, which we do not want to do.
All players call the league info line at 654-2255 EVERY game day for possible schedule changes, delays or postponements.
The League will not be calling the teams to cancel games but will be emailing teams with makeup dates
Please read schedule carefully as you may have one or two games on one day.
PLAYOFFS:
Women's- all played Feb 12th - 14th
Coed- All Played Feb 19th-
21st
Men's- Start on Feb Feb 12th
- 14th (all men's teams playing at least 3 games) with teams winning
game 3 advancing to following Sunday, Feb 21st after all coed finals
are complete (so there are no conflicts)
Beer
Gardens at Melrose Both weekends. February 15th
is a holiday Monday long weekend
All teams make playoffs, be prepared to play all three days. FREE SOCIALS Friday, February 12th & Friday, February 19th from 7 PM- 1 AM at Melrose Beer Gardens all weekend
Players must play a minimum of 5 league games for YOUR team to be eligible for playoffs for YOUR team (so plan ahead)
In regular season only you may pick up a goalie from another team at the rinks if your goalie doesn't show
